Grief & Loss: Learning and Healing Group

Grief can be overwhelming and difficult to work through on your own. Join Grief & Loss: Learning and Healing, a group for those who have lost a loved one, are actively supporting a loved one in their grief, and for caretakers of those who are in the process of transition due to age or terminal illness. The purpose of this group is for attendees to receive validation of their grief experience and education on what grief is, and how it shows up in individuals, and how to cope with loss. 

Group occurs monthly on Saturdays from 12 PM - 2 PM. April 27th, May 18th, and June 29th

• 4/27: Impacts of Grief: Looking at the impacts of grief on the brain and the body. Understanding the different ways we grieve and the different emotions we experience during grief and loss.
• 5/18: Remembering Our Loved Ones: Creating meaningful rituals/memorials for our deceased loved ones. Building emotional strength to keep deceased loved ones alive in our conversations.
• 6/29: Living Life After Death: Coping with the changes in life and building a community of support. Identifying ways to prevent burnout and strategies to intervene sooner rather than later.
